Like you, the Winners for Life Foundation has been working hard to make decisions and adjust to this new environment in our continued effort to support our students. They are trying to realize their dreams of a college education, even with all the odds stacked against them.
Our largest and most successful fundraiser, the Annual Winners for Life luncheon, scheduled to be at Royal Oaks Country Club on November 18, 2021, has been canceled. It would have been our 11th event with an exciting lineup of NFL Hall of Famers, Randy White and Dave Robinson of the Green Bay Packers scheduled to speak. While we would love to bring all of us together, the current environment simply will not allow us to host the event this year.
You have been so generous in giving to our cause in years past, and we thank you for allowing us to further our mission. If your situation allows, we respectfully ask you to give in the same manner this year and continue to partner with us in providing the education funding for our students. The pandemic has impacted this "at risk" population to a much greater degree than most of us. The promising young people we have selected as scholarship recipients need us now more than ever.
